各級學校及教師於課堂上播放影片？可以適度播放歌曲影片的片段段落進行教學，例如上英文課時，適度播放英文歌曲或外文電影的片段段落進行教學，或是上舞蹈課時，為講解現代舞，適度播放雲門舞集的片段進行教學。

如果純粹為了娛樂性質，播放與授課內容無關的音樂，或將整部電影播放供學生欣賞，就不能夠主張合理使用。

在現代教育發展多媒體教學的潮流下，學校教師為輔助教學及提高學生學習興趣，有時會需要在課堂上播放影片，一般而言，教師如欲於課堂上播放影片用於教學，以教室既有的器材或學校視聽設備於教室播放，屬於對於特定多數人（公眾）的「公開上映」行為；至於運用學校電腦網路系統播放供多數班級收看，則屬於「公開傳輸」的行為。

著作權法第46條規定：「Ⅰ.依法設立之各級學校及其擔任教學之人，為學校授課目的之必要範圍內，得重製、公開演出或公開上映已公開發表之著作。Ⅱ.前項情形，經採取合理技術措施防止未有學校學籍或未經選課之人接收者，得公開播送或公開傳輸已公開發表之著作。Ⅲ.第44條但書規定，於前二項情形準用之。」
因此，老師為了授課目的之必要範圍，可以在課堂上播放音樂或電影，例如上英文課時，適度播放英文歌曲或外文電影的片段段落進行教學，或是上舞蹈課時，為講解現代舞，適度播放雲門舞集的片段進行教學。但如果純粹為了娛樂性質，播放與授課內容無關的音樂，或將整部電影播放供學生欣賞，就不能夠主張合理使用。
